John's spent his entire career in the in the design field, with the majority of that time -- 15 years -- as a creative director. Initial post-college jobs in production and proofreading provided a foundation of functionality and attention to detail. Additional commercial arts education at Parson’s School of Design fine-tuned the symbiosis between imagination and practicality. John's taken and grown with these skills and experiences -- a never-ending journey.
In staff and contract gigs, John's worked in publishing, ad agencies, corporations and magazines -- in industries spanning entertainment, finance, bioinformatics, technology, and most recently, shipping & transportation. His responsibilities have ranged from identity creation, print and web design, to branding criteria and execution -- delivering effectively from hands-on expertise to global marketing strategy.
John believes in working hard, collaborating with integrity, cultivating talent, focusing on the big picture while minding details, keeping the client's needs first, and delivering a product that exceeds expectations. He also likes to have fun doing it.
After having spent a decade in one place, John is ready to explore, and seeks new challenges to provide innovative design and branding solutions.
