Company logo creation (Matson)
PROJECT
Present options and shepherd selection of logo for newly creation company subsidiary to company executives.
CHALLENGE
Offering a comprehensive assessment of options succinctly.
SOLUTION
Narrative development, from design rationale of primary logo to visual examples of logo candidates in real-time use, offered a path to explore and evaluate logo options.
RESULTS
Compelling in its simplicity, the logo presentation offered clear and direct options for selection. One viewer called it "the best presentation ever made for the company."
Quarterly animated company-wide broadcast (Matson)
PROJECT
Each quarter, created for our company President an animated presentation, presented live via video link and in-person to all company employees.
CHALLENGE
Keep audience engaged, even during pre-presentation wait time. Also, bandwidth was a serious consideration, so file size had to be small.
SOLUTION
Constructed in Flash, the presentation's screen animations, both looping and one-time, kept the visuals engaging, while augmenting the presentation storyline. Using vector vs. bitmap graphics where feasible kept file size low.
RESULTS
"60 Minutes" was an effective and entertaining communications tool for management to talk to staff.
